Play Date™ is an alternative to the everyday club scene. The concept was developed to bring interesting diverse groups of people together to interact on a social setting based on playing games. Play Date gives you the opportunity to simply allow yourself to have fun and interact with those who have the same goal.
Our venues are comfortable and provide a warm and friendly atmosphere. We feature a variety of music accented by delicious food and cocktails. The rooms are filled with laughter, competition, and camaraderie. The tables (or stations) are spread throughout the venue with a variety of games to suit any interest. The games of choice come from a wide range of classics like: Dominoes, card games (Spades, Bid Whist, Poker), Scrabble, UNO, Chess, Checkers, Perfection, Trouble, Pictionary, Yahtzee, Backgammon, Taboo, Operation, Chutes and Ladders, Scattergories, Simon, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Battleship, Connect Four, Twister, Rock'emSock'em Robots, Jenga, Monopoly, Sorry, and more. We even feature games like Jacks, Pac-Man, and Musical Chairs for true nostalgia. The guests vary in age, ethnicity, profession, and social background yet the games provide an avenue for strangers to become acquainted without the usual awkwardness associated with meeting someone new. The casual environment creates an atmosphere conducive to mingling, meeting, networking, and relaxing.
